Greetings,
The peaches are ready!
Pick Your Own Peaches and Raspberries
will begin Thursday, August 6. Our
summer hours for all crops are Tuesday,
Thursday, and Saturday for 9am to 12pm,
or until picked out for the day. Peach
season typically lasts into September,
as the half a dozen varieties of peaches
we grow continue to ripen.
Blueberries are still available, and
we have lots of flowers to cut. The
weather forecast for Thursday is good
and the tractor with trailer rides will
be running.
Don't have time to pick? Stop in at
our farmstand on Route 12 in Gales Ferry
for all of the fruits and vegetables we
grow, and more. For example, we have
some early, fresh picked nectarines
available for all you fuzz-haters out
there. Current Crops:
Peaches - $1.85 / pound
Blueberries - $2.20 / pound
Raspberries $3.75 / pint
Grape Tomatoes $2.00 / pint
Cut Flower $5.95 / pound
Coming Events:
Nectarines - 1-2 weeks
Pears - 2 weeks
Apples - 2 weeks
