Peach Pie

 

What You Need

4 cups peeled and sliced peaches

½ cup sugar

3-4 tbsp cornstarch

¼ tsp ginger (OR substitute ¼ tsp cinnamon OR ½ tsp almond extract)

your favorite pie crust (homemade or pre-made)


Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 425F.

2) Mix peaches, sugar, cornstarch and optional spice together.

3) Pour into bottom pie shell; cover with top crust.

4) Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.

5) Reduce oven temperature to 350 and cook an additional 30 minutes.
