Raspberry Vinegar and Vinaigrette
What You Need
Ingredients for vinegar
1 (16 ounce) bottle white wine vinegar
1 cup fresh raspberries
Rinse and drain the raspberries and pour into a large glass bottle. Pour in the vinegar, tightly cover the container, and let sit in a cool dark place for two weeks before using.
To make vinaigrette:
1/2 cup raspberry vinegar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Place vinegar in a container with tight lid. Add sugar and mint, cover with lid, and shake to dissolve sugar. Stir in additional sugar (up to another teaspoon) if necessary to smooth out the vinegar flavor.
