Our farm market is open daily from 9-6. Stop in and chat with our staff about what’s fresh, apple recommendations, or ask them what’s new this season. You can also order most of our products by clicking on the link below.
Bakery
As soon as you step in the door, you are greeted with the enticing aroma of our bakery department. Baked fresh daily: pies, cookies, muffins, turnovers, breads, quiche and of course, our famous Holmberg Apple Crisp.
Our chefs also have prepackaged prepared fresh salads and artisan sandwiches for your meals on the go. Need to feed the whole family? We have family-sized meals such as Shepard’s pie, Chicken Broccoli casserole, beef or vegtable lasagna, chili-stuffed peppers and scrumptious pot pies.
Fruits & Vegetables
We stock over 30 varieties of #holmgrown apples at the height of the harvest, and many varieties are available well into the spring. Other seasons offer fresh berries, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears, and so much more. Fresh vegetables are picked daily and piled high in a colorful array of summer’s bounty. During the winter months, we work with local distributors to continue bringing you the freshest produce to your table.
Specialties
This is one-stop shopping for the gourmet palate. Our offerings include pastas, sauces, jams, soups, baking mixes, crackers, cheeses, chocolates, coffees and teas. Our new frozen section abounds with locally made ice cream, ravioli, meats, seafood and prepared dishes from our kitchen.

IS THE STORE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Yes
CAN I BRING IN A DOG IF HE’S IN MY PURSE OR HYPOALLERGENIC?
The health codes are extremely strict because we make and carry food products. Absolutely no dogs are allowed in the store unless clearly marked as an official Guide Dog.

Yes, we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express, as well as cash
CAN I ORDER BAKED GOODS IN ADVANCE?
Absolutely! We accept orders with 24 hours advance notice; otherwise our products are first come, first served. To place an order, call the farmstand at (860) 464-7305 during regular business hours.
DO YOU MAKE FRUIT BASKETS?
Yes. We offer 4 different baskets, ranging from $24.95 to $69.95. Any basket can be customized to your specific needs. We can also make non-perishable gift baskets. Sorry, we do not deliver. Call the farmstand to place an order.
DO YOU SHIP FRUIT?
We do not, but recommend shipping Priority Mail (USPS) or a 2-3 day service from other carriers with each apple protected individually in bubble wrap. We can also recommend other Connecticut orchards that do ship fruit out of state as gifts.
DO YOU GROW ALL THE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AT THE FARM?
Seasonally, we do grow most of our produce, but our inventory of certain items is supplemented by a distributor in Hartford and several local farms also known for their high quality and sound environmental practices.
