Our famous holmmade apple crisp with oatmeal topping
Our sweet cider is pressed from sound, ripe apples right here on the farm. All of our cider is UV treated to ensure food safety. This is an FDA-approved process equivalent to pasteurization, with a few distinct advantages:
Good for the belly: Maintains the probiotic integrity and texture of fresh apples.
Good for the environment: uses only the electricity required to turn on and off a light bulb, as opposed to heating and rapidly cooling a large amount of liquid.
Good for the taste buds: Fresh squeezed juice with all of the flavor you’d expect from our orchard and the texture of unpasteurized cider.
Local & Specialty Foods
This is one-stop shopping for the gourmet palate. Our offerings include pastas, sauces, jams, soups, baking mixes, crackers, cheeses, chocolates, coffees and teas. Our new frozen section abounds with locally made ice cream, ravioli, meats and seafood and prepared dishes from our own kitchen.
Our Own Wines & Hard Ciders
We produce effervescent hard ciders and award-winning wines right here on the orchard. We are also a member of The Connecticut Wine Trail.
Out in the Greenhouse
Springtime comes and we load the greenhouse up with hanging baskets designed and grown on the farm. By early fall, it is stocked with pumpkins, gourds and colorful mums.
We are more than just fruit; we now make soy wax candles on the farm too. Did you know that soy burns cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin? Our most notable scent is Holmberg’s Mulled Cider, but there is a wide variety of fragrances to tempt your nose.
